09 Jun Bentley Farms Combines Old and New to Create a One-of-a-Kind, Elegant Event Destination
York, Pennsylvania’s newest premier wedding and event venue opens its doors to those who are looking for a well-equipped and elegant location for their special day. Bentley Farms, a venue located on a 12-acre farm estate, has been meticulously restored to offer a luxurious and historic experience for guests.
“This place is magical!” A recent wedding guest pointed out what Bentley Farms CEO and owner, Tim Pasch, always knew. Living on the property for two decades as he focused on his construction enterprises, Pasch leaned into the history of the property as he molded the private estate into a manicured event space.
“There’s nothing else like it,” Pasch explains. “We did everything we could to embrace the history while creating a space with enough options to make each experience unique and personal. “He notes that the entire estate was developed and designed to be a gorgeous retreat to bring families together for beautiful and extraordinary events.
While concentrating on the historical aspects of the property, elegant details were carefully incorporated into the design of the house, cottage, and barn that reflect the estate’s past. From the original hardwood floors to the antique furnishings, each space captures the charm and elegance of a bygone era while still offering all the modern amenities that couples and guests have come to expect.
Through thoughtful design, the horse and tobacco barn has been transformed into a breathtaking setting for wedding receptions, corporate events, and large gatherings. Complete with oversized crystal chandeliers, 2-story stone fireplace, and original beams and hardwoods, the upper barn is a grand and versatile backdrop for any level of event.
The lower barn interior features a cozy lounge area, space for groomsmen, a dry bar, and a more casual atmosphere including pub games like foosball, air hockey, and shuffleboard. This well-appointed space is perfect for cocktail parties, showers, and pre-wedding antics. The barn’s lower green, complete with festoon lighting, offers an amazing area for cocktails, lawn games, or just relaxing around the fire pit.
The Bentley Farms Mansion, built in 1825, hosts six beautifully restored bedrooms, luxurious common areas, ample modern bathrooms, and a kitchen featuring every contemporary convenience. The house also features a luxurious bridal suite with floor-to-ceiling mirrors and beauty bar. The separate honeymoon suite provides the bride and groom with a private retreat after a long day of festivities. The mansion’s main rooms and outdoor areas are designed to be versatile for every facet of entertaining. The formal living areas can be configured to host an elegant sit-down dinner, accommodate a cocktail function, or host a celebration.
“It’s all in the details,” explains Angie Ketterman, Wedding and Event Coordinator for Bentley Farms. “When people come to tour, they are struck by the level of detail and the choice of spaces available on the property.” The venue offers several scenic backdrops and spaces to accommodate intimate to large gatherings. From multiple landscaped gardens, a picturesque pond with fountain, bridge, gazebo, and not to mention all the charming indoor spaces, “It’s an all-in-one location for a once in a lifetime celebration,” Angie promises.
