“It was absolutely fantastic! I could not have asked for anything better!” Lisa Winer enthusiastically shares her experience hosting her son’s engagement party at Bentley Farms last March. With family and friends traveling from many different states, she knew the barn at Bentley Farms would provide the perfect location to bring together her loved ones for the celebration.

She remembers it as a typical chilly March day outside but warm, cozy, and welcoming inside with the roaring fire, flickering candlelight, and jazz trio. Even with 50 or so guests, the space was set with room to mingle, meet the bride and groom to-be, and greet relatives. “The space felt intimate for our party,” Lisa explains. “Everybody thought it was just as perfect as I did!”

Adrienne Stein had a similar experience when she threw a surprise birthday party for her husband last April. She says she chose the venue because of its historical beauty.  She wanted the venue to be personal and local. She says it felt like a taste of Pennsylvania but was impressive and elegant.  “It is amazing to see the property restored to its full potential! The barn is so beautiful. The lighting, the beams, the fireplace…” She says she knew it would be the perfect backdrop to making lifelong memories of a special occasion.

Both ladies relish the joy they felt being together with family and friends and celebrating special occasions – something that doesn’t happen often.
